Day 1
Fly to Warsaw
Begin your ‘Eastern European Wonders’ Tour
Guided City Tour of Warsaw
Welcome to Warsaw – capital of Poland. On arrival, you will be met by your Tour Manager / Local Representative, who will welcome you and take you to your hotel (check-in time after 3.00 pm.) In the evening, we take you for a guided city tour of Warsaw. We visit the Old Town Square Market – originally constructed in the late 13th century. It was restored after World War II to its beautiful prewar charm, lined with 17th and 18th century houses, shops, and restaurants. See the Castle Square, King Sigismund’s Column, St. John’s Cathedral and the Barbican.

Day 2

Onto Krakow
Visit the Salt Mines at Wieliczka
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Krakow in Poland. On arrival, we proceed to Wieliczka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the subterranean world of labyrinthine passages, giant caverns, underground lakes and chapels with sculptures in the crystalline salt and rich ornamentation carved in the salt rock.

Day 3

Guided City Tour of Krakow
Visit to Auschwitz Concentration Camp
After a continental breakfast, we proceed on a guided city tour of Krakow. See the Florian’s Gate and Wawel Castle. Visit the Main Square (Rynek Glówny) of Krakow with its centrally located Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) which has survived to this day.
Later, in the afternoon, we visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp – a symbol of the Holocaust and a grim reminder of what cruelty Man is capable of. Jews were sent there from all over Europe to undergo selection and to be systematically murdered in gas chambers. Overnight at the hotel in Krakow.

Day 4

Onto Wroclaw
Guided City Tour of Wroclaw
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Wroclaw. On arrival we proceed on a guided city tour of Wroclaw. We visit the Old Town with the marvellously restored Market Square at its centre and its maze of cobbled streets, canals, bridges and church spires. The Old Town may be the heart of Wrocław, but its soul is in Ostrów Tumski . This ‘Cathedral Island’ within easy walking distance northeast of the market square was the first part of Wrocław to be settled by Slavic tribes in the 9th century. Finally, no visit to Wrocław is complete without a trip east of the Old Town to Centennial Hall. The city’s only UNESCO World Heritage site, this outstanding piece of architecture turned 100 in 2013 and is surrounded by beautiful parks and gardens.

Onto Berlin
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Berlin. On arrival, we check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy this vibrant capital of Germany on your own.

Day 6

Guided City Tour of Berlin
Visit to the Alexander Platz
Guided City Tour of Dresden
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and proceed on a guided city tour of Berlin. See the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate-located in no-man’s land between East and West Germany, the restored Reichstag – the German Parliament Building and the 210 foot Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten Park. Visit Check-Point Charlie – the former border crossing point between East and West Berlin where Soviet and American tanks stood face to face, after the construction of the wall in 1961. We also drive along the Unter Den Linden Boulevard – Berlin’s most beautiful avenue and pass the State Opera House. Next, we visit the Alxender Platz, wherein stands the World Time Clock and the Fountain of Frendship.
Later, we travel southwest to Dresden, the old capital of Saxony, It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe. At one time rightly called the “Florence on the Elbe”. Upon arrival, see the Semper Opera House – the only theater in Germany that bears the name of its architect, which was completely destroyed in 1945 and reopened in 1985 after extensive reconstruction. We also see the Frauenkirche, erected between 1726 and 1743, following the designs of George Bähr. Its characteristic dome, called the “stone bell” owing to its shape, collapsed on February 15th, 1945 under the rain of bombs.

Day 7

Onto Prague
Guided City Tour of Prague
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Prague. On arrival we proceed on a guided city tour of Prague. We start our tour from the 1000-year-old Hradcany Castle, the former residence of the Bohemian kings and St. Vitus Cathedral. Walk down from the Palace to Charles Bridge, founded in 1357 by Charles IV. Both ends of the bridge are fortified by towers.
We, also visit the Old Town Square with its Town Hall and Astronomical Clock, one of the outstanding sights of Prague. The dial is poised with three main components: the astronomical dial that displays various astronomical details as well as representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky. “The Walk of the Apostles”, showcases the movement of the figures of Twelve Apostles passing along the two windows in every hour of daylight; and a calendar dial that rotates and gives the description of each and every day of the year with an indication of the current date at the top, the medallions with zodiac signs describing every month.

Day 8

Onto Salzburg

Guided City Tour of Salzburg
After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to Salzburg, fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. Enroute, we stop at a town that reaches to the skies, above a bend on the River Vltava – Český Krumlov, a UNESCO Heritage site. A pearl of Renaissance architecture and a place where the sumptuousness of the local castle, mazelike alleyways, richly decorated coats of arms of burghers house and medieval pubs. Upon arrival we take you on a guided city tour of Český Krumlov. See the magnificent Church of St. Vitus, Český Krumlov Castle and the old town.
Later, we drive to Salzburg & take you on a guided walking tour of this elegant baroque city. Salzburg, full of green hills, romantic gardens and breathtaking valleys. is a picturesque city with small alleys, quaint colorful town homes, rich castles and palaces, neat gardens and a high density of churches and monasteries. See the birthplace of the legendary Mozart, the Mirabell Palace with its landscaped gardens and the Cathedral in the old town. Stroll along the Aldstadt, which was recently granted World Heritage Status by UNESCO.

Day 9

Onto Vienna
Guided City Tour of Vienna
Visit the Schonbrunn Palace
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Vienna – capital of Austria. Upon arrival, proceed on a guided city tour of Vienna. We drive on the Ring Boulevard and see the State Opera House, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. We also make a photostop at the Hofburg-former winter residence of the Habsburg family and the Belvedere Palace-former summer residence of Prince Eugene.
Later, we visit the Schonbrunn Palace (the former summer residence of the Habsburg family). Schönbrunn Palace was not only an imperial residence and the setting for countless festivities, but also a place where famous artists and craftsmen from many different epochs created interiors of great beauty. All the rooms in the palace have their own stories to tell, stories on the margins of great historical events which are indicative of the lifestyle, atmosphere and world view of the imperial era.

Day 10

Orientation Tour of Bratislava
Onto Budapest
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. On arrival, we proceed on an orientation tour of Bratislava, where we visit the Old Town, with its Roland Fountain in the square. You have some free time to soak in the atmosphere of this medieval city, with its side-walk cafes. Later, we drive to Budapest – capital of Hungary.

Day 11

Guided City Tour of Budapest
Hungarian Horsemanship show
Visit to the Fisherman’s Bastion
Evening Cruise on Danube River
After a continental breakfast, we proceed on a guided city tour of Budapest. See the Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, built upon the request of Count István Széchenyi between 1839 and 1849, the Parliament, Heroes’ Square, the capital’s most spectacular square with the column of the Millennium Memorial, on the top of which archangel Gabriel is holding the Holy Crown and the apostolic double cross and Andrassy Avenue with its outstandingly beautiful Opera House. Budapest is said to be the only real Danube capital as the river flows right through the middle of the city. The bridges, the Parliament building and the Royal Palace give Budapest an unparalleled atmosphere.
Later, we drive to Hungarian countryside to see the Famous Hungarian Horsemanship show. Visit Fisherman’s Bastion for amazing views of the Danube.
In the evening, enjoy the river views during a romantic evening cruise on the Danube.

Day 12

Return Home with Wonderful Memories
After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to the airport for your flight back home. Its time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. Exclusions

  • Any increase in the air fare, fuel surcharge and taxes charged by the airlines on your air ticket (calculated at 1st October, 2014 rates).

  • Cost of extension of the validity or deviation from route of your air ticket.
  • Cost of the Suggested Excursions.
  • Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the group menus.
  • Mandatory tips of Euro 3 per person per day for Coach drivers, Guides etc.
  • Anything not specifically mentioned in ‘What your Tour Price includes’ box.

Single room supplement EURO 430 per person.
As a 3rd in a triple, a roll away cot may be provided.
As a 3rd in a double, no bed or cot will be provided to the child. Person below 12 years will be considered as a Child.

Surcharges applicable during Peak and Event periods

Visa Requirements : You must be in possession of a valid Single Entry Schengenstatin Visa. The cost of this Visa is included in your tour price. Some Consulates may request for a personal interview. You will have to attend this Interview at your own cost.

Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Europe such as Air show, the Motor show, etc the hotels may be blocked out more than 1 year in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended.
