Day 1

Arrive in Zurich – Zermatt (3.5 hours)
On arrival at Zurich, board your train to Zermatt. Nestled in a deep valley, ensconced between steeply scarped mountains, Zermatt is dominated by the huge, gracefully curved pyramid of the Matterhorn. Stay overnight at Zermatt.

Day 2

Zermatt
Morning, discover the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The Klein Matterhorn, 3883 m., is Europe’s highest viewing platform, for stunning views, also popularly known as the Toblerone Chocolate Mountain. Your journey up will take you on the highest aerial cable-way in Europe. Enjoy a 360º panoramic view of the Swiss, French and Italian Alps. Stay overnight in Zermatt. (B)

Day 3

Zermatt
Your day is free, to explore this car-free village on your own or you can visit Rothorn Paradise (optional) for a superb panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks, rising 4000 m above sea level. Stay overnight in Zermatt. (B)

Day 4

Zermatt – Interlaken (2.5 hours)
The journey to Visp by the Glacier Express is one of the most spectacular train journeys through the Alpine heartland of Switzerland. Seated in a comfortable, panoramic, viewing car, you will see breath-taking mountain scenery, snow-covered peaks, meadows with wild flowers and tiny old villages. Stay overnight in Interlaken. (B)

Day 5

Interlaken
Enjoy a fun-filled and exciting day, as you board the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, 3,454 m, the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces, for breath-taking views of the Aletsch Glacier, longest in the Alps. Stay overnight in Engelberg. In the evening, enjoy the optional Dinner Cruise along the shores of Lake Brienz. Stay overnight in Interlaken. (B)

Day 6

Interlaken – Lucerne (2 hours)
Board your train to Lucerne. You can explore this historic city with its famous wooden bridges, the Lion monument, shopping areas, take a walk by the lake, see the old town on your own or you can enjoy an optional excursion to the top of Mt. Pilatus. Stay overnight in Lucerne. (B)

Day 7

Lucerne
Enjoy the excursion to Mt. Titlis, a day of sheer adventure to a glacier paradise. Board the world’s first revolving gondola, Rotair. Don’t miss the spectacular Ice Flyer chairlift. See the ice grotto in Titlis Glacier Park and experience the newly opened Titlis Cliff Walk. Stay overnight in Lucerne. (B)

Day 8

Lucerne – Zurich (50 minutes)
Board your train to Zurich. Discover the sights of Zurich aboard the unique Classic Trolley, to see all the important landmarks of Zurich, including the Fraumunster Church. In 2 hours, the tour will take you through this beautiful city and show you the business and financial centre, Bahnhofstrasse, the most important museums, a section of the Old Town, Fraumünster Church with its famous Chagall windows, historical Limmatquai, the University district, residential areas, beautiful hillside villas on the Zurichberg, as well as recreation areas and views of the Alps from Zurich’s vantage points. Stay overnight in Zurich. (B)

Day 9

Zurich
Proceed to the airport to board your flight back home. (B)
